The Soul Behind Mirasoul

Mira first dreamed of becoming an artist as a child, though years of trauma and neglect soon pushed that dream aside. By fourteen, she had been abandoned and was living on the streets surrounded by addiction, leaving little space to imagine a future in the arts.

The years that followed took her through an unconventional life shaped by motherhood, years of travel, life abroad, and continual personal transformation. After a severe illness dramatically changed what her body was capable of and brought years of outward exploration to a halt, her world became much smaller and more inward. In that season, art became both a refuge and a way of making meaning from a life that no longer looked the way she had imagined.

Mira

ARTIST | STORYTELLER

Welcome to Mirasoul Studio. Mira is an artist and storyteller creating work centered around identity, meaning, and the unseen parts of being human. She believes art can awaken something we already know deep within ourselves: there is infinitely more to who we are than what appears on the surface.

Believing that many people are searching for a deeper understanding of who they are and what gives life meaning, Mira hopes her work will offer a visual reminder of the deeper self that exists beyond physical circumstance. She envisions her paintings living in homes as daily invitations to reconnect with that part of themselves and to move through life with greater awareness, freedom, and personal power.

Her future vision also extends beyond the art world: as her health continues to improve, she hopes to return to Asia with her family and continue serving underprivileged communities, while using the resources generated through Mirasoul to expand their support of feeding and educating children and providing ongoing assistance to families in need.

Today, Mira balances two full-time callings: raising and homeschooling her four children and pursuing her career as a professional artist. Her studio hours begin at 4am, allowing her to paint while the house is still quiet and the veil is thin.

She began painting in January 2026 as a complete beginner and, within her first year, graduated from the Milan Art Institute. Through Mirasoul, she creates figurative surrealist paintings that challenge the idea that a person can be reduced to what is visible, inviting viewers to recognize and reconnect with the deeper identity beneath the surface.
